Irene Antonucci, attrice, autrice e regista pugliese, ha costruito una carriera internazionale tra cinema, televisione e teatro, con esperienze in Italia e Colombia e numerosi premi dedicati al cinema e alla creatività. Tra i riconoscimenti più recenti: Riconoscimento di onorificenza dalla prefettura di Guayas (Ecuador) come ambasciatrice del cinema Italiano in Sud America. Una presenza che unisce talento, esperienza e visione contemporanea.

Actress, writer, and director from Puglia, has built an international career across film, television, and theatre, with professional experience in both Italy and Colombia and numerous awards celebrating her contribution to cinema and creativity. Among her most recent recognitions are Honorary Recognition awarded by the Prefecture of Guayas (Ecuador) as Ambassador of Italian Cinema in South America.

Her presence brings together talent, experience, and a contemporary artistic vision.

She has been chosen as the AMURA Ambassador because she perfectly embodies the values at the heart of the festival: artistic excellence, strong local roots, and an open outlook toward the world. 

Mimmo Mongelli - Presidente

Nato a Bari, si diploma in Regia all’Accademia Nazionale d’Arte Drammatica “Silvio D’Amico”. Ha studiato e lavorato con maestri come Ronconi, Trionfo, Bolognini, Camilleri, De Bosio e Gregoretti tra teatro, cinema e TV. Dal 1983 firma regie teatrali e cinematografiche premiate in festival internazionali e scrive testi originali e adattamenti per teatro, radio, TV e cinema. Docente emerito alle Accademie di Bari Macerata e Lecce, ha diretto laboratori e progetti UE. Attualmente dirige la Mostra del Cinema di Taranto (9 edizioni). È amministratore della produzione cinematografica 7th Art International Agency, con all’attivo 20 opere cinematografiche di interesse nazionale ed internazionale.

Mimmo Mongelli - Presidente

Born in Bari, he graduated in Directing from the National Academy of Dramatic Arts “Silvio D’Amico”. He studied and worked with masters such as Ronconi, Trionfo, Bolognini, Camilleri, De Bosio, and Gregoretti across theatre, cinema, and television. Since 1983, he has directed theatre and film productions awarded at international festivals and has written original works and adaptations for theatre, radio, television, and cinema. He is an emeritus professor at the Academies of Fine Arts in Bari, Macerata, and Lecce, and has led workshops and EU-funded projects. He currently directs the Taranto Film Festival (9 editions). He is the administrator of the film production company 7th Art International Agency, with 20 film works of national and international relevance.
